- What is permanent makeup?
Permanent cosmetics is a safe and natural-looking alternative to the expense and daily routine of applying makeup upon waking in the morning and often times throughout the day. It is a state-of-the-art technique of permanently applying makeup via intradermal micropigmentation. Properly applied by an experienced technician, permanent makeup will be more natural and realistic in appearance as compared to conventional cosmetics.
- What is the difference between coil machine and the Softap® method?
It is the technician behind any given tool that makes a procedure successful. The biggest difference with SofTap® is the technician is the power source. The manual method is very quiet, controlled and very natural looking when healed. All tools come pre-sterlized and are tossed after every procedure in a sharps container. There is no assembly required. Also most clients find the lack of vibration and noise very comforting. There are very little touch ups with a well trained professional.
- Is it safe?
YES -- Linda Tical is a trained professional and a Licensed Esthetician, Nail Specialist, Body Wrapper as well as a Multi Media Make up Artist, Advanced Eyelash Extensions Stylist and Certified Softap Technician. She utilizes a 100% single-use, disposable system for each procedure. Her methods of permanent cosmetic application are controlled, gentle and safe.
- Does it hurt?
Very little, if any, discomfort is experienced during the procedure. In fact, the great majority of her clients describe the sensation as a "'tickling" feeling. The anesthesia Linda uses is of a superior grade and is extremely effective.
- Will it look "natural"?
YES -- It will look more natural than your own conventional make-up. Unless you tell somebody you've had it applied, they'll never know. - What is the healing time?
Most clients are immediately able to return to work or their other daily activities immediately following their procedure without any embarrassment or discomfort. the exclusive-blend of superior-strength anesthesia prevents unsightly swelling and bleeding while providing a rapid, healing period for our clients.
For approximately 5-7 days following the procedure, you will need to apply a thin film of ointment to the procedure site. During this healing period, you will notice the color soften into your skin.
- How many applications are needed?
Generally, two applications are needed in order to achieve full satisfaction with your desired look. However, many clients are fully satisfied with just one application. If a second application is desired, it is scheduled approximately 6 weeks after the initial procedure.
- How long does a procedure take?
Including the consultation, paperwork, and numbing time, the average length of time for one procedure is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours. The second application is usually l hour or less.
- How long does it last?
A: Permanent makeup never washes off or smears. It can soften through the years. The length of time will vary based on colors chosen, skin type, and compliance with after care instructions. Color refreshers will range from one to ten years and vary on an individual basis.
- May I choose my own colors?
Definitely. Colors and shades are custom-blended to match your favorite pencils. However, should you later decide upon a different color, she can either lighten, darken, or even the change the color at that time. As an expert in the field, a different color choice may be recommended, based on a personal color analysis. Although the final color choice is yours, she strongly recommends natural shades. With each procedure, only fresh and safe ingredients are used. Their rich and creamy pigments are of the highest quality and have an excellent reputation because they look so natural.
- Will I be allergic to permanent makeup?
Absolutely not. Many women choose permanent eyeliner as the solution to their sensitive eyes. Say "good-bye" to watery, runny eyes and smeary makeup forever! However, a patch test is recommended if you have allergies
- How much does a permanent procedure cost?
Her permanent cosmetic procedures generally range from 200.00 to 700.00.
